HOW TO MAKE A COMPANY IN KOREA : Elite Marketing Pro CEO, Mbaye Ndoye

hero

Last month, we had the pleasure to interview MBAYE NDOYE, also called BABA, the CEO of Elite Marketing pro, a company specialised in reselling new and secondhand cars coming from Korea to African countries, especially in Senegal, the country where Baba is originated.

In order to make his project come to reality, BABA contacted us. Now, it’s been about 6 months that Baba decided to trust our team and our services. We builded a strong relationship based on reliance, confidence through consulting sessions, constant administrative assistance and easy-going communication.

After successfully incorporating his company in South Korea, Baba dedicated some of his time to deliver his point of view about building a business in South Korea, the struggles he may have encountered and how our presence helped him get through complex administrative procedures.

Today, without any doubt, we are very proud of the journey that we went through along Baba’s side during 6 months and we wish him the best for the future to come.

  • Baba’s company project : when you decide to create your own opportunities

For BABA, South Korea automobile market was meant to be bounded to African countries.

According to Baba analysis, South Korean car users only keep their vehicles less than 3 to 4 years while African and European drivers can keep a car for more than 10 years. He understood that by importing Korean cars, he could reduce the expense of buying a valuable car in good condition.

After realising the cultural gap between those two geographically far areas, Baba did not hesitate to let his entrepreneur mindset win over the uncertainty of an unknown future to extend his car business in South Korea.

  • Baba’s administrative journey : standing in front of lot of doors without any key

The first steps of incorporation are very difficult, especially in South Korea.

« The language and the rules, you need to know somebody that knows those two things to make your life easier »

— Baba

Before coming in South Korea, Baba was concerned by the possibility that his company would not be able to be incorporated in South Korea due to long administrative delays. Baba mentioned that he found it confusing to go to immigration by himself. Sometimes, the immigration refused to give him validation. He expressed the fact that it was essential to be accompanied by someone who knows how to deal with Korean administration system.

While it may have been puzzling to go through paperwork alone, it is when Baba decided to trust us that things started to move again.

Something that has had a strong good impression on Baba’s mind was that he felt like by using Vizabridge Corporation, he would be surrounded by people knowing what they were involved in.

« I know you have a good business because you know exactly what you are doing. This is the person I am looking for. »

— Baba

He expressed the fact that connecting with Vizabridge Corporation services helped him to entrust the administrative side of the incorporation to another body with total confidence. He could then strictly focus on developing his business without worrying about anything.

« If you don’t respect the tax system in Korea, you may go to jail »

— Baba

Baba was fully aware of the fact that he had to choose a cautious service to avoid being stuck in hard-to-solve situations.

  • Baba’s satisfaction rate : how much satisfied are you of Vizabridge Corporation services ?

« I would say 100% »

— Baba

During the interview, Baba conveyed to us that being accompanied by a thorough agent was really meaningful and helpful. The time he saved in administration, he invested it in building his company. He also had some words to express the fact that he enjoyed the sustainable engagement of Vizabridge Corporation team throughout the whole process, even today.

« I am sure I can introduce [Vizabridge Corporation] to more than 10 people who need someone to trust »

— Baba

  • Baba’s last words and message : a voice oriented to a bright future

« We wish the immigration makes things easier for us, because we are coming to work, we are coming to invest and we are coming to be part of the Korean economy. [Us, foreign entrepreneurs] really wish that [Korean government] makes the things easy for us. We come for honesty and we come for work. We could have just come to visit and go, but we want to be part of the economy »

— Baba

« There is no reason to make a very big barrier to make a business here in Korea with the visa »

— Tom, CEO of HelloFriends co.

We again want to thank BABA for the time he dedicated to this interview and for all of his insights and shares that he delivered that were extremely valuable.
