Business Plan & Pitch Bootcamp for International Founders

2026.07.23
thumb

If any of this sounds like you, keep reading:

  • You don't know where to even start with the business plan
  • You're writing it alone and it's starting to feel inconsistent
  • You're worried about submitting without ever pitching it out loud first

4 sessions. A mock pitch before your deadline. One finished application.

Most of each session is spent actually writing your business plan, with a mentor giving you feedback in real time, not sitting through lectures.

Who this is for

Pre-startup and early-stage teams preparing an application for a startup program or competition, who want to:

  • Turn a rough idea into a business plan that hits the criteria judges actually look for
  • Get direct, personal feedback from a mentor who's actually built a company
  • Walk into submission day with a polished, judge-ready application and a rehearsed pitch

How it works

Every session follows the same rhythm: a short talk to frame the day's topic, real founder stories from your mentor, and the bulk of the time spent writing your plan with 1:1 mentoring alongside you.

Schedule

  • Session 1: Wed, July 29, 1:00 to 4:00 PM
  • Session 2: Thu, July 30, 1:00 to 4:00 PM
  • Session 3: Thu, Aug 6, 1:00 to 4:00 PM
  • Session 4: Thu, Aug 13, 1:00 to 4:00 PM

Session 1: Find the Problem, Frame the Whole Plan

Leave with the full skeleton of your application, all four sections, not just one.

Covers the core evaluation criteria most programs score on, plus hands-on drafting time to write your Problem Recognition section and rough out the rest.

Session 2: Prove It's Real

Leave with a Feasibility & Differentiation section that shows judges your build plan and what makes you hard to copy.

Drafting time and 1:1 mentoring to write this section and revisit Session 1's work.

Session 3: Make the Case for Korea

Leave with a Korea Market Entry Plan that shows real commitment: market sizing, why Korea, your on-the-ground plans.

Drafting time, 1:1 mentoring, and a full consistency check across everything you've written so far.

Session 4: Lock It In and Pitch

Leave with a finished application and a rehearsed pitch.

Covers Team Competency writing tips, word-count strategy, drafting time to finish your last section, and a mock pitch in front of peers and a mentor.

(This cohort is timed for teams applying to programs like the KSGC International Student Track, but the frameworks apply to any startup program or competition.)

Your mentor

Lou Minomatot: Founder of Nestia, Grand Prize winner at IFC2025

Lou is a French national who studied at Ewha and founded Nestia, an app for foreigners navigating life in Korea, already building a growing user base. She's been through the process of applying to and pitching for startup programs herself, so she knows exactly what it feels like from the inside.
